SECP COMMITTEES

The following committees work in their respective areas
to help member platforms and organizations.

Governance and Compliance Committee

Governance and Compliance Committee (a) helps member platforms and organizations operate according to SECP’s mission and vision; (b) informs and guides SECP member organizations in legal and ethical norms and best practices in non-profit governance; (c) Develops reference guides, educational material, and training activities for participant NPOs and platforms.

Human Resources Committee

Human Resources Committee informs and guides SECP members onvarious aspects of human resource management such as planning, recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and career development.

Education Committee

Education Committee The Education Committee aims to inform and assist SECP communities by identifying and promoting educational opportunities.

Integration Committee

Integration Committee develops educational programs and resources to support healthy social integration of the SECP constituency into American society.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee leads efforts to implement action plans to create and sustain a welcoming and enriching environment for all within SECP member organizations.

The Finance Committee

The Finance Committee informs and guides SECP members on

(a) budgeting and financial planning,
(b) internal controls and safeguards, and
(c) timely and accurate reporting.

The Planning Committee

The Planning Committee helps with setting common aspirational goals and priorities for Hizmet activities in North America
