Istanbul Cultural Center Represents Türkiye at Cobb County’s 2025 International Festival

On August 23, 2025, Cobb County hosted its 5th Annual International Festival, welcoming over 9,000 attendees to a vibrant celebration of global heritage, cuisine, and the arts. Among the many cultural participants was the Istanbul Cultural Center, a proud member of the Southeast Platform, representing Türkiye alongside consulates from 21 other nations.

The Center’s booth offered guests a warm introduction to Turkish culture, featuring historical displays and traditional Turkish delight that charmed visitors of all ages. The festival grounds buzzed with music, dance, and culinary experiences from around the world, creating a joyful atmosphere of connection and shared celebration.

During a heartfelt ceremony, Cobb County Government formally recognized the Istanbul Cultural Center for its contribution to the event. Chairwoman Lisa Cupid presented the award, expressing appreciation for the Center’s role in fostering cultural understanding and community spirit. Congresswoman Lucy McBath also attended, commending all participating countries for their efforts in promoting inclusivity and cross-cultural dialogue.
