The Southeast Platform successfully hosted the Short-Term Goals Workshop on September 15, 2024, in Atlanta. This workshop aimed to enhance communication and coordination among the participants of the Hizmet movement in North America and the civil society organizations they have established, such as humanitarian aid, education, and dialogue associations.
The North America Civil Platform (NACP) is committed to making the services provided by Hizmet participants in North America more efficient, organized, inclusive, and transparent. As part of this commitment, planning activities for the next 3-5 years are being conducted.
Following the feedback received and the identification of Long-Term Goals and Common Focus Areas during the workshop held in Chicago, the focus now shifted to enriching the Common Focus Areas and identifying Short-Term Goals for the Southeast region. This workshop provided an opportunity for participants to collaboratively determine the Short-Term Goals for our region.
Workshop Groups:
Youth and Guidance: Cultivating a Virtuous Generation
Consultation, Trust Building, and Accountability: Ensuring Transparency and Trust
Spiritual Development: Achieving Renewal
Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue: Promoting Understanding and Cooperation
Empowering Women’s Role in Hizmet: Strengthening Women’s Contributions
Participants selected their preferred groups and actively contributed to the discussions, helping to shape the future direction of the Hizmet movement in the Southeast region.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and contributed to the success of this important workshop.
