Thousands Flock to 15th Atlanta Turkish Food Festival

 

The Istanbul Cultural Center successfully hosted the 15th Atlanta Turkish Food Festival on October 5th and 6th, attracting thousands of attendees eager to experience authentic Turkish cuisine. Despite the influx, the event ran smoothly, thanks to the meticulous planning and hard work of Turkish-American community volunteers.

Festival-goers enjoyed not only good weather but also a mouthwatering array of traditional dishes. The extensive menu featured Adana Kebab, Doner – Turkish Gyro, Turkish Cag Kebab, Shish Chicken Meal, Turkish Lamb Sauté (Sac Kavurma), Tantuni, Kofta & Sausage Sandwich, Lamb Shish Kebab, Gozleme, Turkish Homemade Bakery & Desserts, Icli Kofte, Turkish Coffee, Turkish Tea & Simit, Turkish Ayran, Turkish Ice Cream, and Lokma Dessert.

Proceeds from the festival were dedicated to charity, underscoring the event’s community spirit and generosity. The blend of delicious food, delightful weather, and a worthy cause made this year’s festival an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
